　　小朋友做作业时，随手将写错的纸张撕下揉成团丢到房间而不是脚下的垃圾篓，地上、鱼缸里，已满是这种皱巴巴的纸团。他的房间的凌乱并不止于此，书包、课本、衣服等等物件，也均被他乱丢乱放。
　　深夜，他入梦后，被他乱丢弃的物件开始集体起义，与他的照片展开斗争。梦醒时分，小朋友揉揉惺忪的双眼，终于意识到应该把物件分门别类整整齐齐地归置妥当。

　　阳光明媚的一天，母亲们带着自己的孩子来公园玩，孩子们在沙坑中做着各种各样的游戏，分外投入。突然狂风大作，大人们连忙收拾衣物带着孩子离开。奔跑中，一位母亲不慎将孩子心爱的红头发玩偶掉落地上，回到家发现宝贝丢失的小孩子大哭不止。
　　夜晚降临，躺在草丛中的玩偶醒来，她呼唤自己的小主人，却引来同样被丢失在沙地的小狗。伤心的娃娃落下眼泪，开朗热心的小狗则和其他玩具们一起帮助她找寻回家的路。
　　本片出自捷克女动画家赫米娜•齐蒂洛娃之手，她也是捷克木偶剧的开山鼻祖。
